Whether you are just starting out to attract clients or whether you’ve been in business for a while, and feeling like it’s a bit of a rollercoaster, I’ve got great news for you. The truth is, there is a process, and there is a system; a step-by-step system that you can follow to attract more clients.  And in this article, I’m gonna walk you through the nine steps to attract more clients.   I know it may sound like a lot but read on, because I’m gonna break it all down for you …

9 Steps To Attract All The Clients You Wan

1. Get really clear on who you are targeting.  
Get to really know who your ideal client is. Don’t try to sell to everyone. You want to be selling to a specific person that has a specific problem that they want to overcome OR have a specific goal they want to achieve. The more you can position yourself as someone that can help them to do that, then you’re going to be in a great place to attract them to your offerings.

2. Get to really know them.  
This means really knowing, not just superficially, but knowing their deepest hopes, fears and desires. The more you understand them, the better your position will be to make them an incredible offer and win them as a client.

3. Get really clear on how you can help them.
So if they have a specific problem or they have a specific goal, what is it that you specifically have that can help them overcome or achieve that?

4. Package your help into a solution that is easy for them to say yes to.
So you need some type of offer, some type of invitation, some type of offering …   here’s what it is, here is what it’ll do for you, here is how much it will cost.  So you need to get really clear on that.

5. Find them. 
Now, isn’t it interesting that this is where most people think marketing starts?  They think that attracting new clients starts with finding them, but those four steps that you do before you get this point are really crucial for you laying the groundwork and setting yourself up to be a client magnet and attracting all the clients you want.   So after you’ve done the first four steps, it’s time to identify where your ideal client is hanging out.  Ask …  what are the clubs they’re a member of, what are the publications that they read, what are the Facebook groups they are members on? Where are they hanging out online and offline?

6. Fill your pipeline.
So this is where you want to start to build a list of potential customers – a list of potential clients. The best way to do this is to use something that I call a lead magnet. We have separate training on how to create an irresistible lead magnet, and you can access that here

7. Make them an offer.
You have to ask them to buy. You have to put something in front of them and ask them to say yes to it.

8. Close the sale.
So after you’ve made your offer, after you’ve said, “Here’s what I’ve got for you. Here’s what I’ll do for you. Here’s how much it costs. Here’s how you get started,” you need to ask, “So when do you wanna get started? So would you like to start right now?” It’s really easy to close the sale. 9. Follow-up with additional offers.
This is where most people leave profits on the table. After someone has become a client of yours, they are more likely to buy from you. The people who are most likely to buy anything are people who’ve already bought from you. So this is where you make additional sales and upsells through creating additional offers and solutions to the problems that your customers have.
